The decorative paper production process mainly includes the following steps:
Raw material selection: The production of decorative paper first requires the selection of suitable raw materials, mainly wood pulp and titanium dioxide. Wood pulp is the basic material of paper, while titanium dioxide is used to improve the hiding power, whiteness and color brightness of paper.
Pulping and papermaking: The selected raw materials are pulped by a pulping machine, and then the pulp is made into paper by a papermaking machine. This step is the basis of decorative paper production.
Printing: The finished paper is printed to form the desired pattern and design. Printing is one of the key links in the production of decorative paper and determines the appearance and decorative effect of the final product.
Gluing: The printed paper needs to be dipped in glue to enhance its wear resistance and waterproof performance. This step is usually completed by a glue tank and a scraper to ensure the uniform distribution of glue.
Drying and cooling: The paper after glue dipping needs to enter the oven for drying, and then cooled by a cold air blower to ensure the curing of the glue.
Surface treatment: As needed, the paper can be embossed and pressed to increase its three-dimensional sense and decorative effect.
Cutting and packaging: Finally, the treated paper is cut and packaged for subsequent use and storage.
Decorative paper has a wide range of applications. It is mainly used for veneer of artificial boards, such as fiberboard, particleboard, etc., and is widely used in the production and manufacturing of terminal consumer products such as furniture, flooring, and wooden doors. With the improvement of environmental awareness and the promotion of the "paper instead of plastic" policy, the application of decorative paper in packaging and decoration is also expanding.
