Each plywood has a grade. C-grade plywood has not been polished and contains defects and nodules with a diameter less than 2 inches. When installing C-grade plywood on your subfloor, these nodes and defects are not important. D-grade plywood has not been polished and contains defects and nodules with a diameter of 2 inches or more.
